PROGRAM DESCRIPTION - HVAC
The HVAC program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and certifications necessary to pursue a rewarding career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry.
This comprehensive two-year program integrates science into an array of classroom theoretical instruction, hands-on laboratory experience, and real-world internships, ensuring a well-rounded education.
Students will also acquire soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and professional ethics while gaining an all-inclusive understanding of HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

- Blueprint reading and system design
- Manifold gauge reading and interpretation
- Heating systems (oil and gas)
- Soldering and brazing procedures
- Sheet metal work and ductwork servicing
- Air and duct sealing techniques
- Piping of boiler and hydronic systems
- Installation of ductless heat pump systems

COLLEGE CREDITS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Upon successful completion of this program, students may receive college credits pending established procedures. Students may also receive an industry certification pending successful completion of an industry certification exam. All students completing this program and passing the appropriate industry certification exam will receive an endorsed high school diploma.
