New CTE Program:
Pathways in Education
Turn Your Passion for Education into a Career Pathways in Education is a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) program designed or students interested in teaching, counseling, educational leadership, and support services. This hands-on program provides students with real-world experience, college and career readiness skills, and a strong foundation for future careers in education.
What Students Will Learn?
Students will gain exposure to multiple education-related career pathways, including:
- Teaching & Instruction
- School Counseling & Student Support Services
- Educational Psychology & Child Development
- Special Education Foundations
- School Leadership & Educational Policy
The Southern Westchester BOCES Draft Code of Conduct 2026-2027 will be reviewed by the Board of Education, and a vote to adopt it will take place Sept. 16, 2026. Public comment on the Draft Code of Conduct will end on Sept. 15, 2026.
