The video features students from each of our CTE trade programs discussing the skills they learned, how their teachers influenced learning success, future plans after graduation, and advice for incoming students.

Video Production and Audio Production students collaborated on scheduling and recording each student interview while performing various industry job roles such as Technical Director, Camera Operator, Lighting Technician, Tape Operator, Audio Engineer, Production Sound Mixer and Boom-Pole Operator.

This year’s Student Voices video was introduced by Jake Olivier and Tyler Luisi from the Video Production program. Jake and Tyler took 1st place in SkillsUSA Area IV Regional competition and 2nd place in the New York State competition. They also won awards for their short films at this year’s First Dance Film Festival. Jake won best cinematography. Tyler won best editing and best picture.
