Students representing a range of programs received scholarships, while others were honored as “Best in Program” for their outstanding performance and dedication.
“As you stand here today, take a moment to look around the room,” Principal Jaclyn De Lao told students. “You are the future. The hard work and dedication you’ve shown here will stay with you for the rest of your life. Never forget the effort you’ve put in, and know that we are here to support you wherever your journey leads.”
Awards were presented by counselors Monica Mann, Anna Macchia, and Kevin McAllister, along with school social worker Eileen Yip. Director Dahlia Jackson, Principal De Lao, Assistant Principal Phil Donohue, and members of the Southern Westchester BOCES administration were also in attendance.
“Today is about celebrating our students—their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments,” Ms. Jackson said. “Each student recognized has shown a strong commitment to learning and growth, and we are proud to honor their success.”
In addition to awards presented by counselors and administrators, several instructors recognized students from their programs with “Best in Program” honors.
Each student received a certificate and plaque in recognition of their achievements.
