Job Description:
General Summary: Performs a variety of general and special cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms. Baseboards, corners, and wall/floor edges to be cleaned daily. Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment. Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms. Cleans fixtures, tops of windows, door frames, and high areas using a ladder. Trash containers shell be emptied and returned to their initial location. Boxes, cans, and papers placed near a trash receptacle and marked. "Trash" shall be removed. All liners to be replaced each time trash is removed. Stripping and waxing floors are required by contract. Mopping, buffing, and scrubbing of floors. Clean floor mats, remove all waste, and clean all commodes, shower stalls, sinks, tile floors daily. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas and/or patient rooms. Performs all essential duties and responsibilities for assigned areas and any special job assignments delegated by a QSI supervisor. Performs work according to an itinerary and continuously updates supervisor on location, status, and any special requests made by any EMS personnel. Required to drive company vehicle to different clinics for cleaning. Maintain a valid driver license with a good driving record a must.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements: Able to lift/carry 26 - 50 pounds. Able to stand for long periods of time. Required Skills Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English at a level which enables the individual to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job. Employee will frequently be required to use vacuum. Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time day and evening shifts. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation included. This job is mission essential personnel and will be needed to work as required. Work hours are 2:00pm - 9:00pm. Will work 32 - 40 hours per week. Overtime will be required. All applicants must submit to a background check.
Dress Code: Employee will be required to wear company provided uniforms.
